Way back in 1976, it all started with Darrell Hood and Bob Braund. They represented filter manufacturers for one of the first manufacturers’ rep agencies in the country and decided to form their own business. A year earlier, Darrell’s son and Bob’s grandson, Kevin Hood, unofficially joined the filtration world from the womb. The added pressure and expense of newborn Kevin probably helped start and fuel the new business, but he didn't begin earning his keep until 1993 and has evolved the company since then.
Nearly fifty years ago, all we did were face-to-face meetings at industrial manufacturing plants across the Midwest. We were one of the first manufacturers’ reps around and represented some of the finest filtration manufacturers. Our specialty has always been specifying filtration equipment and filter replacements required before and after an air compressor. We have specified filtration equipment for 48 years.
