Description
The ULTRAFILTER AK07/25 replacement filter element is an activated carbon adsorber designed for final-stage compressed air purification. It is used to reduce oil vapor, hydrocarbons, odors, and other gaseous contaminants that are not removed by conventional particulate or coalescing filtration.
The AK07/25 uses a two-stage filtration design. A microfiber depth layer helps capture fine particulate contamination, while the activated carbon adsorption layer removes oil vapor and hydrocarbon odors from the compressed air stream. With proper upstream prefiltration, the AK series is capable of reducing residual oil content to less than 0.003 mg/m³.
This aftermarket replacement is designed for use in ULTRAFILTER housings requiring the AK07/25 element and provides a cost-effective alternative to the original filter element.

Recommended Installation: The AK07/25 should be installed as the final filtration stage after an appropriate high-efficiency coalescing filter and compressed air dryer. Activated carbon adsorber elements are designed primarily for vapor and odor removal and should not be used as the primary filter for bulk liquid water or oil aerosol removal.
Common applications include instrument air, process air, packaging equipment, pharmaceutical production, food and beverage processing, breathing air systems, and other applications requiring very low levels of oil vapor and odor.
