The SMC AMF-EL150 filter element equivalent is an activated carbon odor removal filter designed to eliminate oil vapor, odors, and gaseous contaminants from compressed air systems. Unlike standard particulate or coalescing filters, the AMF series uses specialized adsorption media to help produce cleaner, fresher compressed air for sensitive applications, including food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, brewing, packaging, and breathing air systems.
The high-efficiency activated carbon element helps remove residual hydrocarbon vapors and unwanted odors that can pass through conventional filtration stages. For best performance, SMC recommends installing the AMF filter downstream of a coalescing filter and using clean, dry compressed air.
