The SCHRAMM 3998-0025 filter separator replacement is precision-built to install exactly like the original. This aftermarket air/oil separator offers oil separation performance equal to or better than the original OEM separator specifications.
In an oil-flooded rotary compressor, the air/oil separator strips lubricating oil from the discharge air before it leaves the sump tank and sends it back to the compressor. A healthy separator keeps oil carryover low, protects downstream dryers and filters, and reduces oil top-offs. A heavy-duty inner and outer core keeps the separator rigid under pressure, so it won't collapse or deform in service.
