QUINCY BK4007481 Oil/Water Separator Replacement

The Quincy BK4007481 replacement cartridge set is designed for servicing the Quincy QCS450 oil/water separator. The kit replaces the saturated filtration media responsible for removing dispersed compressor lubricant from collected condensate before the treated water is discharged.

Each service kit includes one prefilter and one activated carbon element. The prefilter captures bulk oil and contaminants, while the carbon element provides final polishing to reduce the remaining oil concentration.

As the filtration media becomes saturated, its ability to capture compressor lubricant gradually decreases. Replacing both elements at the proper service interval helps maintain separator performance and can reduce residual oil content to as low as 5 ppm under proper operating conditions.

Service frequency will vary based on compressor operating hours, condensate volume, lubricant type, ambient conditions, and the amount of oil entering the separator. Dispose of used media and separated compressor oil according to applicable local regulations.
