The INTERVAC DVC0517-1 air/oil separator replacement helps reduce the oil mist released through an oil-lubricated vacuum pump's exhaust. This aftermarket replacement serves the pump's discharge-side separation system, where entrained oil is collected from the outgoing gas.
Keeping the separator in serviceable condition helps limit oil deposits near the exhaust outlet. Check associated seals and follow the manufacturer's service instructions during installation.
