Description
The DOMNICK HUNTER 020ACS filter replacement is an aftermarket activated carbon adsorption element designed for the removal of oil vapor, hydrocarbon odors, and other gaseous contaminants from compressed air. The ACS grade is used as a final purification stage where exceptionally clean, virtually oil-free compressed air is required.
Unlike coalescing filters that remove liquid oil aerosols and solid particles, the activated carbon media in the 020ACS adsorbs oil vapor that can remain in the compressed air after conventional filtration. For best performance and service life, an ACS element should be installed downstream of appropriate coalescing filtration.
