The AIR TEK AME-05-E mist eliminator element replacement is designed for long service life and low pressure drop. This aftermarket mist eliminator element offers oil separation performance equal to or better than the original OEM separator specifications.
In an oil-flooded rotary compressor, the air/oil separator strips lubricating oil from the discharge air before it leaves the sump tank and sends it back to the compressor. A healthy separator keeps oil carryover low, protects downstream dryers and filters, and reduces oil top-offs. Our separators hold their shape under pressure and maintain even pressure differentials, preventing collapse.
