Ingersoll Rand and Gardner Denver Merger - What About Your Filters?

Published by Filter Element Store on May 10, 2019

Ingersoll Rand and Gardner Denver MergerIngersoll-Rand and Gardner Denver have announced plans to merge into a giant air compressor powerhouse. Both manufacturers are leaders in the air compressor and filtration industry. This merger creates a dominant industrial force with 2019E pro forma revenue of $6.6 billion and a large aftermarket revenue source. Ingersoll Rand and Gardner Denver will be combined into "IndustrialCo" and Ingersoll Rand's HVAC and Climate division will be under a new parent company called "ClimateCo".

What does that mean for the air compressor and filtration industry? It is hard to determine at this point, but what we can be assured of, is the price of their "OEM" filter elements will not be lowered anytime in the future.

Prices for Ingersoll Rand OEM filter elements are 2 to 5 times the price of our high quality equivalent replacement filters. The same goes for Gardner Denver's OEM filter elements that may or may not be manufactured by Gardner Denver. Our $100 Gardner Denver aftermarket filter element could cost you $200 to $500.

Let the giant monopolies continue to make their billions of dollars while you save money with Filter Element Store.
